About Me

Who am I and why do I think I’m important enough that you should you read my blog?

Well, I am Michael Glenn Blunk, and I work in the emerging legal cannabis industry, am an avid bowler, movie watcher, and enjoy experiencing as much as I can of what this world has to offer.

I also honestly believe I have a political viewpoint that needs to be spread more in this country. I call myself a liberal-tarian and a radical centrist. I was a raging liberal in my college days, turning into more of a libertarian after getting disenfranchised with the political process, and have now settled firmly in the middle. Every day I seem to convert more and more people to my brand of ideology, which is built on the concepts of personal freedom, government that helps it citizens, the accountability of everyone, and the idea that judgement should only be reserved for purposely evil acts.

My blog, Point Blunk, is a combination of my personal thoughts, my political viewpoints, and whatever else I want it to be. I cover a wide range of topics, including drug policy, education, the two party system, the welfare system, gun rights, the free market, government surveillance, and much more.

For a little more about myself, I am a graduate of the University of Houston, with degrees in Political Science and Communication, or as I like to jokingly call it, a degree in professional bullshitting. I am also an alumni, and former chairman of the board of the Students for Sensible Drug Policy, an international grassroots organization working to end the war on drugs and replace it with harm reduction and common sense based solutions. With the ArcView Group I manage our Entrepreneur Relations, helping companies to raise capital and gain exposure to our angel investor network.

I actively encourage discussion on any topic I bring up, but be prepared to truly discuss. I will not stand for trolls, flamers, or anyone I generally consider incompetent. But you wouldn’t be any of those, right?

    1. Sadly @pointblunk has been claimed for a few months now. I’m attempting to contract the owner to see if I can get it. Until then @theblunk is my handle, and all my posts are posted to there.

What do you think?
